Digital Nomad Visa

Currently, Indonesia does not provide special visas for digital nomads, but there are other options available.

Visa on Arrival

Citizens of EU countries, USA, Canada and many others can get a Visa on Arrival (VoA), in fact, this is a visa exemption agreement. A complete list of visa-free countries can be found on the website of the Indonesian Immigration Authority.
The validity period is 30 days.

The visa fee is $35.

What do you need to enter Indonesia?

  • Paid hotel or accommodation reservation
  • Instead of a paid hotel reservation, you can provide a letter from a sponsor who is an Indonesian citizen. If you do not have a guarantor, the Indonesian visa agencies can help you with this (the cost of the service is $23).
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19
  • Medical policy is not required (but it is desirable to issue a policy)

Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa

For business purposes, you can apply for a business visa (D212) valid for up to 5 years. The number of entries and exits to Indonesia is not limited, but the duration of each visit should not exceed 60 days.
